The LFT-11 is the worlds first computer multimedia desktop speaker to use advanced planar
loudspeaker technology. The LFT-11 is designed to be an accurate transducer. Because of its high
quality and low distortion it will reveal many limitations in the playback medium and recordings.
Differences in sound quality between different sources such as AM or FM radio, the compact disc, or different digital recording schemes and sampling methods will be readily apparent.
The frequency balance of the LFT-11 was designed to have essentially flat response in the average
computer desktop installation. Two 6-1/2 inch woofers in a sealed enclosure give the speaker
extended low frequency output. The woofer cabinet is designed to be placed on the floor
underneath of beside the desk. Supplied cables connect the woofer, amplifier and desktop
speakers. The specially designed planar panels are very directional. This enhances 3D acoustic
effects and imaging. The LFT-11 is the only multimedia speaker made with accurate phase
response. It is also the lowest distortion multimedia speaker available.
