Artist Biography
Brent Flory
Brent Flory graduated from Brigham Young University in 1989 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Illustration. He has since shown his work in numerous exhibitions around the United States and Canada. He has also won awards such as 1st place honorable mention in the Miniature Painters and Gravers Society 57th International Exhibition in Washington D.C., The Grumbacher Gold Medal Award in the Nat’l Society of Painters in Casein and Acrylic 38th Annual Exhibition in New York, twice Best of Show at The Artist’s Alpine Holiday in Ouray, Colorado, and 1st place in the Wind River Valley Nat’l Art Exhibit in Dubois, Wyoming.
He is currently working on his "Carousel Fantasies" series of limited edition prints. He resides in Wallsburg, Utah, USA, with his wife and five hungry children who all together manage a 1050 acre cattle and horse ranch. After the day’s work is through during the summer, he manages to get in a few hours of work on this series. The winter months allow him more time in his studio.
