Hand Carved Carousel Horses (& More) on Consignment
$6,000: Touches of Americana were used to decorate the carousels leaving the C.W. Parker factory in Leavenworth, Kansas, and the flag was always a popular theme. Nearly every carousel that Parker produced had at least one horse carrying Old Glory. The Parker original of this double flag stargazer was produced between 1916-1920. I (Craig Swanson) carved this spectacular example of a Parker stargazer after restoring the original figure. The horse has intricately detailed trappings and features 27 jewels, double American flags, and a carved eagle cantle. Contact Craig Swanson 816-833-3573
